Well a big weekend….again! Yesterday another huge burn off of the rest of the privet. Feeling very ordinary, fighting something off and the tooth ache from hell (never had one before) today was a slow burn. Cottages cleaned from the weekends guests and ready for tomorrow’s guests and then as the sun set walked a glass of wine down to Darl. Finally a tree bank dismantled. 6 years ago we planted river gums, these ones were sadly very burnt in the 2020 fires, this is where the front jumped the river to head into Moruya town. A rapid wind change that in hindsight thank goodness saved all the massive casurinas. Anyway so thankful the trees survived and are large enough for the barb wire to come down.
