In and around the farm

Mogendoura Farm stay has so much to offer for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle. There are 220 acres to explore, follow the walking tracks that take you to wetlands, through the bush and along 2kms of riverfront riverside. Set in Mogendoura next to Glenduart ,the farm is minutes to Moruya, close to Batemans Bay, Narooma and all the South Coast towns in between.

You never know what nature experiences you will have on the way. Birdwatchers will be amazed by the diversity of species. You may encounter wombats or echidnas at night and you will certainly see your fair share of variety of Australia native wildlife wallabies and kangaroos…..hence we request guests adhere to the farm's speed limit.

The property is also suitable for BMX or mountain bike riding; bring your footy, cricket or boules sets as there is so much room to spread out for some good old fashioned fun. Outdoors games provided. Swings set and cubby house.

If it's fishing you want, cast off the bank or from the private sandy beach, you are sure to catch something to throw on the Barbie. Or if not you can purchase 100% Belted Galloway beef straight from the farm. If you’re not into fishing then swim, canoe, kayak in the river or just sit back under the shady trees with a good book.

You can do just about everything in the cooler months as you can in the warmer, except swimming can be a bit chilly but who can resist the charm of a wood fire pit and a game or two. Enjoy the large outdoor undercover Alfresco dining area with BBQ all year round.

The property is the perfect family or group getaway and it makes the most beautiful backdrop for a small and intimate beach/bush wedding. Camping options available.
