About the Event
All horse owners should have basic body check-up skills, just like we know how to deal with basic cuts, and wounds. A basic body check up helps you
1) to know your horses current limitations, identify stuck areas, and over reactive areas of their body?
2) to know how to check key areas when rehabilitating your horse i.e. thoracic sling dysfunction, pelvic/sacrum motion
3) be able to check your horse after a fall, a lot of work, a change in disposition, attitude or performance.
Too many times horses new behaviours are blamed on human reasons and their attempts at communication aren’t heard.
A few simple skills will empower you the owner to have a deeper understanding of good or compromised areas in the body.
